This is the stack of books I keep by my bed--all of them are on the "active reading list."
This photo shows (from top to bottom): Lost (a British mystery), While I Was Gone (a book loaned to me by A. I was telling him you can paint yourself into a corner writing a novel from the first-person perspective, so he loaned me this as an example he thought was well-done), Secret Formula (a just-purchased book on the history of Coca-Cola), and The Power of Christ's Miracles (by Charles Spurgeon).
Below this is a red and white book called The Long Ball (about the 1975 World Series), The Know-It All (about a guy who read through the entire Encyclopedia Britannica in an effort to become super-smart), False Impression (I read all of Jeffrey Archer's books--the third Brit on my active list), and The Jekyl Island Club (historic fiction).
Next is Dean & Me (memories from Jerry Lewis), The Daily Bible in Chronological Order, The Holy Bible in the New Living Translation (this is a first-edition I got free during my old job as a talk show host--I really like how it reads), Next Man Up (a season with the Baltimore Ravens), and Beach Music (I also like to read all of Pat Conroy's stuff).
My current audio book (in my car) is Decider by Dick Francis.
So there you have it--a peak into my reading world... Hey--Wake up, wake up!! ...I didn't even get the chance to tell you about the two dresser drawers full of books I'm going to read next, they're located underneath this stack. Hey, where'd everybody go??

Who you foolin' Vano? Put your fake stack away and show us the real one -- the one with all the audio book CD cases.

It's not reading...if you're listening. Where are your two additions on the stack??
