I was enjoying some conversation with a Columbian friend of mine tonight. As she talked about her life in Columbia, she made many references to animals. With her heavy accent, I smiled to myself as she kept saying:
"There were so many enemas there." "Every kind of enema you can think. What is the kind that go 'oink'? (a pig). Yes, even that enema." "My husband and I, we work like enemas."
Great conversation... I learned a lot about her life then and now... but those particular lines about made me burst. It reminded me of when I first moved to Georgia and a man asked me if I had any "hell damage." It took me a minute or two before I realized he was saying, "hail damage"--from the storm of the night before. Maybe I just need to unplug my ears.

This made me laugh. You funny John.
